A Health Visitor is available to give general advice on health issues for families. The best time to telephone is between 9:00 – 10:00am Monday to Friday.

 

Family Planning Services

Confidential contraceptive advice, fitting of contraceptive device, condoms and prescriptions are available free of charge, from your own doctor. We are very happy to see, help and advice teenagers on these matters. Please make an appointment during normal surgery hours. Emergency contraception is available.


Maternity Services

All the doctors undertake full maternity care. The midwife who works with our practice holds a clinic twice a week in the surgery. The postnatal examination can be combined with the six week baby check.

Social services can help with a variety of problems.
The team includes the Home care organiser, social worker and occupational therapist. 

 

Community Nurses - 023 8078 3089

Community nurses provide nursing treatment and advice to the housebound and patients recently discharged from hospital. The best time to telephone is between 0830 AM to 5.00PM (answer phone service) 

Private Medical Services

We are happy to provide a range of non-NHS services for which we charge the standard BMA fees. An up to date scale of fees if posted in reception. These include examinations required for employers, PSV, HGV and insurance companies etc.
